Samsung Galaxy S III baru saja diperkenalkan pada tanggal 3 Mei 2012 kemarin, sementara Sony Xperia S diperkenalkan pada bulan Januari di acara CES 2012.
Kedua smartphone ini memiliki kapasitas memori internal 32GB, dan Samsung Galaxy S III juga hadir dalam versi 16GB. Keduanya merupakan smartphone Android, Samsung Galaxy S III hadir menggunakan Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, sedangkan Sony Xperia S menggunakan OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Samsung Galaxy S III memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik karena menggunakan prosessor dual core 1.4GHz, sementara Sony Xperia S hanya menggunakan prosessor dual core 1.5GHz. Keduanya ditenagai juga dengan RAM sebesar 1GB.
Samsung Galaxy S III memiliki layar yang lebih besar yakni berukuran 4.8 inci, sementara Sony Xperia S memiliki layar dengan ukuran 4.3 inci. Keduanya memiliki resolusi yang sama yakni sebesar 1280 x 720 piksel.
Sony Xperia S dilengkapi dengan kamera yang lebih baik yakni berkekuatan 12 megapiksel, sementara Samsung Galaxy S III hanya dilengkapi dengan kamera 8 megapiksel.
Untuk daya, Samsung Galaxy S III dilengkapi dengan baterai berkapasitas 2100mAh, sedangkan Sony Xperia S dilengkapi dengan baterai berkapasitas 1750mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S III hadir dengan fitur-fitur yang lebih super dibandingkan dengan Sony Xperia S. Dan tentu saja untuk mendapatkan Samsung Galaxy S III anda perlu merogoh kocek lebih dalam lagi. Sony Xperia S memiliki banderol harga diatas Rp5 Juta, sedangkan Samsung Galaxy S III diperkirakan akan dibanderol dengan harga diatas Rp7 Juta.
